To ensure your Sharp PC 9000 Series AC Adapter performs correctly please ensure the AC Adapter is kept clean and dry at all times.
The thin black cable from the Sharp PC 9000 Series AC Adapter to the back of your laptop should never be wrapped around the body of the AC adapter as this can permanently damage the cable.
You should also avoid wrapping the mains cable from around the body of the Sharp PC 9000 Series AC Adapter, as this can also damage the AC Adapter mains cable.
